Understanding Your Right and Responsiblities

Effective Date: January 10, 2020

Company: Digital Truth Experts (“Digital Truth Experts,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)

Website: www.digitaltruthexperts.com

1 Information We Collect

  • You give us: name, email, phone, organization, and what you tell us about your situation when you enquire, book a consultation, or engage us.
  • Cookies: used to keep the site secure and understand how it’s used. You can control these in your browser or our cookie settings.

Please don’t put sensitive details in a first enquiry. Describe the situation generally — we’ll open a secure channel, and sign an NDA on request, before you share anything confidential.

2. How We Use It

To respond to enquiries and triage emergencies; to run engagements and deliver reports; to carry out conflict checks; to process payments and keep tax records; to secure our systems; to send updates you’ve consented.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or provide it for AI training.

3. How We Share It

Only where necessary: with vetted service providers ([hosting, secure file transfer, email, payments, accounting]) under contract.

4. Case and Evidence Data

Material you provide for an engagement — devices, images, logs, records — is handled differently:

  • We process it only to perform your engagement, on your instructions.
  • It’s access-restricted, encrypted [in transit and at rest], and handled under chain-of-custody procedures where the matter requires.
  • It’s returned or securely destroyed at the end of the agreed period — certificate of destruction available on request.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by [named provider]. We keep invoices and transaction records for accounting, tax, and dispute purposes.

6. Security

We apply safeguards proportionate to what we hold: [encryption, least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication, monitoring, personnel vetting, secure evidence storage]. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data.

7. How Long We Keep It

Client and engagement records[engagement + X years]
Case and evidence data[per engagement agreement]

8. Your Rights

You can request access to your data, correct or delete it, object to processing, withdraw consent for marketing or cookies, and complain to [the USA Data Protection Commission or your local authority]. Email [privacy@lightgoldenrodyellow-swan-164501.hostingersite.com] and we’ll verify your identity and respond within the period the law allows.
